Mikkelsen sponsors Norwegian spearhead
Norwegian Clara Hellan Larsen is just 15 years old, but has already shown that she is in a class of her own.
Clara’s athletic career started at age 11, with a special interest for javelin and discos. Over the years Clara has achieved top results, and now ranks in top3 in Norway in her age group.
At last year’s Junior World Games in Göteborg Clara won a silver medal with her spear, and this year she has won even more medals. At the Norwegian Junior Championships in August Clara threw her discus 36,5m and won gold!
The next day Clara won a silver medal with a 42,48m javelin throw. The javelin – or spear as it is commonly known – weighs 600g and is 2,20m long.
